Namor, the Sub-Mariner #19 (1991) — Comic Book

Namor, the Sub-Mariner #19 (1991) — Marvel Comics. "9 Wives" — from John Byrne's early-90s reinvention of Marvel's first mutant, the Sub-Mariner.

Byrne's Namor series took the Prince of Atlantis out of the ocean and into the boardroom, rebuilding him as the head of Oracle, Inc. while undersea threats kept pulling him home. Issue #19 lands in the heart of that run — Bronze-to-Modern era Marvel with Byrne's clean, powerful take on Namor. A sharp addition to a Sub-Mariner, Avengers, or Defenders run.
