We're Adopting a Family for Thanksgiving

This year, we're adopting one local family for Thanksgiving

Instead of a box of food somebody else picked out, the family we select will receive a grocery gift card, provided about a week before Thanksgiving, so they can buy the meal THEY want. Turkey or tamales, from scratch or all the shortcuts - their holiday, their call. Nobody should be judged for how they feed their family.

Our privacy promise

The family's identity stays completely private. On November 19 we will announce only that a family has been selected. We contact the family directly - no names, no photos, no cameras.
