Kickers Inc. #3 (1987) — Comic Book

Kickers Inc. #3 (1987) — Marvel Comics. New Universe action with a sports twist: a pro football star and his teammates turn their skills to hero work.

Kickers Inc. was Marvel New Universe's most offbeat title — quarterback Jack Magniconte, enhanced by the White Event, leads a team of former players who hire themselves out for impossible jobs. Issue #3 comes from the line's first year, when Marvel was building its realistic, no-capes universe month by month. An inexpensive, fun gap-filler for New Universe runs.
