Maximum Security: Dangerous Planet #1 (2000) — Comic Book

Maximum Security: Dangerous Planet #1 (2000) — Marvel Comics, Direct Edition. The one-shot that kicks off the Maximum Security event — Ego the Living Planet turns Earth into a prison planet. By Kurt Busiek and Jerry Ordway.

Marvel's 2000 crossover had a killer premise: the galaxy's powers exile their worst criminals to Earth, and the Avengers have to hold the line. Dangerous Planet is the oversized prelude, with a Busiek/Ordway pedigree that makes it more than a tie-in — a proper cosmic one-shot in its own right.
