Namor, the Sub-Mariner #17 (1991) — Comic Book

Namor, the Sub-Mariner #17 (1991) — Marvel Comics. "Fire and Stone" — from John Byrne's reinvention of the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's original mutant prince of Atlantis.

Byrne's Namor run recast the Sea Prince as a surface-world power broker at Oracle, Inc., without letting the ocean — or its enemies — leave him alone. Issue #17 sits mid-run in that fan-favorite era. A solid Modern Age pickup for Sub-Mariner, Avengers, and Defenders collectors building the 1990 series.
